D’s YOGA IN LAUNCESTON: NEW CLASSES + NEW VENUE

Hi,

I’m really pleased to announce some new classes and a change of venue. I’ve returned the classes to the Tasdance Studio in Wellington street mostly for logistical reasons. I’m sure we’ll all miss the Stompin studio: Thanks Sarah!!

Saturday morning classes have been really interesting. The regulars are dedicated and learning at lightening speed. They’re now swift and strong at completing the standing postures of the Ashtanga Primary Series. Everyone has shown marked awareness growth in their practice and are now very able to nut-out their own practice issues with only very gentle persuasion from me. Soon we’ll be moving on to the seated postures of the Primary Series; another huge and new challenge entirely! The Saturday morning class is no longer open to beginners.

The change of venue happened very suddenly and I’m really happy about it. Change room facilities and parking are better. The sunny garden aspect will be so beautiful for morning practice and for evening classes the space is very well heated.

1] TUESDAYS 7 – 8:15pm: GENTLE BEGINNERS & REFRESHER, 7 WEEK COURSE

These 7 sessions will give you lashings of inspiration to confidently begin or resume yoga practice at home.Class content is designed for both beginners and those who’d like to refresh their practice. You’ll learn how to unify the base elements of basic practice: posture, breathing & meditation techniques.

2] SATURDAYS 8:30 – 10am: STRONG VINYASANA STYLE & TECHNIQUE, ONGOING CLASS

These sessions are for those with existing practice who are committed to further learning. This is a strong, informative and fun session.

No need to book.

ABOUT D
Daniela Miotto is a 38 y-old mother of one with has a passion for all movement arts. Her yoga teaching started in ’98 while still studying Contemporary Dance & Professional Writing at Deakin University. Teaching yoga is her love-job. Her day-job is running a mixed-media production company with her handsome husband, James, here in Launceston: www.brownbreadandbutter.com
